The problem with back-yard trees
The tree that needs to come down is rarely the one by the street. It’s behind the house, inside a fence, up a gravel side run or on ground too soft for a truck. Plenty of quotes end at “we can’t get equipment back there.” Ours don’t — getting equipment back there is most of what our fleet was picked for.
Three ways in
Through the gate: the 90HD+ spider lift runs on tracks and folds narrow enough to walk through a standard gate, then sets up on outriggers once it’s in — soft lawns and slopes included.
Over the house: when nothing can drive in at all, the 108-foot boom reaches the back yard from the driveway or the street, and the tree comes out over the roof, piece by piece.
Down the side run: the chipper tows into places a chip truck can’t turn, so the brush still leaves the same day even when the truck is parked a house away.
